Abstract content

The $\rho$-(770) production density matrix is studied with the VES setup in $\pi^{-}N \to N'\pi^{-}\pi^{0}$ with statistics three orders of magnitude bigger than in previous studies. A significant background to the $\pi^{-}\pi^{0}$ sample is leakage from previously studied $\pi^{-}\pi^{0}\pi^{0}$ system. The estimation of the background contribution is implemented in the Partial Wave Analysis procedure.
